Project Overview
Client: Evvent, a Norwegian event marketplace startup
Industry: E-commerce, Events
Timeline: 1 month (2024)
My Role: Product Designer
Evvent aims to connect users with event vendors through a curated, culturally inclusive marketplace. Listings are at the core of this experience — they represent the products and services that vendors offer.
At the time, the platform lacked a way for vendors to create and manage listings, limiting growth and onboarding. A scalable listing management flow was needed to allow vendors to easily add, organize, and manage their offerings, while maintaining clarity and usability across diverse categories.
Design Process

Through early exploration and discussions with the founders, I uncovered key challenges vendors faced during onboarding — unclear expectations, lack of structure for presenting their services, and uncertainty about how their listings would appear to users.
These insights shaped three key objectives for the project:
Simplify vendor onboarding through a guided, step-by-step flow.
Enable efficient listing creation and management.
Build a structure that scales across different service categories.
I then mapped the information architecture, structured each step for clarity, and defined scalable patterns to handle category-specific inputs (e.g., catering vs. venue listings). This laid the groundwork for designing the actual listing experience.
